Nikon d5000 iso problem?
I'm new in photography, when i change my camera to A, S and M mode… I chose my ISO to be 200 or 400 but then when i check my pictures information, my iso is 3200, . When i take auto pictures my iso is always around 200 to 400 and the quality is much better…
Added (1). QRK was right i did what you say and now i can adjust my ISO thank you… I was going crazy over this…
If you are in S or A mode and are using a shutter speed or aperture such that the camera can't create a correct exposure, there's a possibility that the camera is trying to compensate by adjusting the ISO higher. Try using A or S mode outside on a sunny day (after setting the ISO to 100) and see if the same problem occurs.
You probably have your camera set in iso-auto mode. See page 149 in your manual. Either change the max value to something more reasonable, like 800, or turn this mode off. If you use iso-auto mode, be sure the min shutter speed is set to something reasonable like 1/30 or 1/60 (depends on how steady you can hold the camera).

Why can't qrk have the 10 points?
- Does the iso of the film dictate the iso in the camera?
