Nikon D3100 Battery Grip?

When is it going to have a battery grip for nikon D3100? Still waiting for it? Heard that phottix will be selling by the end of 2010. Hope it'll come out soon cause I'm buying a 18-200vrII as well for my d3100 for walk around lens. I need the battery grip for an extra weight to the d3100 body.

Nikon will never release one. Phottix is the most likely to and that will appear on ebay first.

It's Nikon policy not to manufacture grips for entry level SLRs. Even if Phottix made one you might not get a vertical shutter release to go on the grip.
