Nikon D3000 colours to vibrant?

Does anybody think the Nikon d3000 makes your pictures you take a little to vibrant? I feel that my d3000 makes my images a little to vibrant and puts to much emphasis on the green colour in things.

Look on page 87 of your user manual.

You will see you have options which are Standard, Neutral or Vivid.

Take some test shots of the same subject under the same lighting in each of those settings and I'm sure you will be happy with one of them

The other thing you will have to do to assure that the colour you see on you computer monitor is what the camera recorded will require you to calibrate and profile your monitor.
