When i set the lens to auto focus it will focus but it won't take a photo? But it works fine on manual focus. Can you please tell me what's wrong with my camera?

This video tutorial should help you:

I'd check that you're choosing your subjects well.

If the AF can't achieve sharp focus, the camera won't fire. Low light, plain backgrounds or too little tonal variation can prevent AF from working.

Try shooting someone wearing dark clothes against a light background in bright light - if that doesn't work, take it back where you got it and explain the problem.

The other possibility is nastier - the focus gears can be stripped if the focus ring is turned while the lens is set to AF. This causes inexperienced photographers many problems.

User error is the problem.

Rather than resetting, which could be done by sticking a pin into the hole btw…
use your user manual to find your focus settings. You probably changed it to MF, whereas you would like to have it in AF-A.
