Memory Card Photos Upload to Mac?
I havw a nikon d3100 and with a standard memory card. I put it in the card reader on my mac but i don't where to find them. I opened iphoto but nothing popped up. Where do i locate them?
If you have all pages closed it should just be a picture of a memory card maybe with the name of you camera under it in the top right corner or if not open finder it in the list of things on the left
The icon will pop up on your desk top after the card is inserted. You can then click on the icon to open the photos on the card, though you will probably have to open a folder or two on the card first. Then, when you have the photos open, just go to Edit - Select All, and drag all the photos to anyplace you want on your Mac. I suggest you create and name a folder Nikon D3100 in which to drag your photos.
VERY IMPORTANT… Before you remove the card from the computer, right click the icon and select EJECT. This will close out the memory card recognition, the icon will go away, and you can then remove the card with no error warnings.
Use adobe bridge to import the photos from your memory card.
click the little camera at the top, and then select where you would like to save it too.
