Is there Auto ISO on the Nikon D5100?
I just recently got a Nikon D5100, and I was wondering if there was an Auto ISO in manual mode? I went to the menu and turned the auto ISO sensitivity to 'on,' but when I try doing it it says "This feature is not available" because of the cameras state. My camera is at 1 bar battery, but would that stop auto ISO in manual mode, or do I have to choose the ISO on my own in manual mode?
I'm sure you have to choose the iso in manual mode. You should have checked for an auto option in priority or program before asking here but I have nothing better to do so its all good.
Apparently not then. I'm not going to download and read the manual because you can't be bothered to crank it open yourself.
Try shooting in aperture priority. Not sure why you wouldn't have an auto iso mode in maul though.
