Is the kit lens with Nikon D3200 wide-angle zoom lens?
The lens which comes with Nikon D3200 - AF-S 18-55mm VR Kit Lens, is it wide-angle zoom lens?
No. Although 18 is fairly wide it's not a wide angle lens.
The short end is equivalent to 28mm on 35mm format - if you need something wider, you're doing it wrong.
Yes, but not really wide.
At 18 mm, you have what is the equivalent of about a 28 mm lens on a full frame or 35 mm camera. That means that you can shoot landscapes with it including group shots. The other focal lengths makes is a good all around starting lens (that is why most camera makers include it with entry level cameras -- costing under $1, 000)
If you want a super wide angle zoom, look at the Nikkor 10-24 mm or 12-24 mm lens

Yes.
Historically, in 35mm film camera terms, a 35mm lens is the beginning of the wide angle range.
For cropped cameras, such as your D3200, a wide angle is from around 18mm to 24mm, super-wide is 8 to 12mm.
In reality, the 18~55mm lens on a DX camera is a moderate wide angle (18mm) to a moderate telephoto (55mm) lens (equivalent to 27~82mm in 35mm camera terms).
