Is the AF-S Micro Nikkor 60mm f/2.8G ED lens compatible with a Nikon D3000 camera?
Emily Stanfill
I'm trying to find a macro lens for my Nikon D3000, and I'm not sure if I can use this one or not. If you know any macro lenses that will go on my camera, please send me a link!

Yes it will as the AF-S tag on lenses are the DX format compatible so it will definitely work on your D3000.

Yes, that one is perfectly compatible and would serve you well as a macro and portrait lens.
Note that the working distance with this macro lens would be too short to shoot living insects with it though, if these are easily scared away.
