I have Nikon D3100, is it okay to use no-VR lens?
I was thinking to buy a 70mm-300mm nikkor lens see this link http://www.nikonusa.com/...-5.6G.html
I don't have a budget for the same lens with vr
is okay to use that lens on my Nikon D3100? Or it is not advisable to use a lens without vr in D3100?
You're confusing VR, Nikon's in-lens optical stabilizer with AF-S, nikon's in-lens motor system. You need an AF-S lens for your D3100 to autofocus. A VR lens is merely nice to have.
That lens you link to, the 70-300 g-type is cheap for a reason, it's poor quality optics. It also does not autofocus on your d3100
