How to do vintage photography?

I really want to know how to and the editing stuffs. I use Nikon d7000 and sony nex5.

You want to assimilate, not do vintage photography. Only post processing can produce this much sought after effect. Since Polaroid went out of business that kind of laminate layering imagery is also quite sought after.

Generally, grain and texture will diminish the photo to a 'vintage' level then desaturate the color and hue to the side of sepia (age the image). This should give you a vintage feel.

Remember too, your subject matter has to be of a vintage nature… Photographing a Lotus is hardly a vintage subject so keep aware of your backgrounds and items within the image (clothing, makeup, technologies).
