How do you take continuous shots with a Nikon D5100 camera?

Simple:
Step 1: Read the instructions that came with the camera.
Step 2: Do what the instructions say.

The D5100 is capable of shooting at up to 4 frames per second (fps).
From the Shooting Menu, choose Release Mode. Select Continuous, and hold down the shutter button while shooting. Here's a video to walk you through it.
BTW, this can be found in your manual, if you've already bought the camera.
