How to make a video out of pictures like these?

I already made a video like these, but it took FOREVER. How is the fastest way to do it? I have a nikon d5000 camera that i used last time, but it didn't turn out that great because the self timers fastest setting is 1 picture every second. So how do i go about taking the pictures, and how to i put them in a video, the fastest way possible?

It's like a stop motion video - you shoot stills at different positions.moving a little each time, then put them as frames into a moving video sequence, using any movie maker software. Adjust the frame rate to your liking & voila!
It WILL take take because you shoot every frame individually - it's not shot like a video would be.
