How to shoot more? Nikon d3100?
How can i shoot more with my camera? I got a nikon d3100 18-55, and a 16GB memory, on live view screen it shows me only 10 minutes, how can i change that to shoot more?
Live view allows only 10 mins of shooting. Try for new fixpacks with this problem fixed.
All DSLRs are "crippled" when it comes to video. Part of this is due to technology. And incredibly, part is due to over-zealous government regulation (29 minutes, 59 seconds).
If you want high performance video - go with a camcorder, not a DSLR.
DSLR's aren't desinged to be used for long clips of video, the sensors can overheat.
But they still take really good video, much better than most entry level camcorders.
Why not just shoot lots of shorter clips and edit them together in something like Windows Movie Maker? It makes for a more appealing video anyway.
You can't change it and you don't need to. It's extremely rare that you would ever need more than 10 minutes. After all, who wants to watch the same scene for even 10 minutes. You shoot short scenes, then edit them together.
