Format types for youtube and vimeo (format options)?

Ok so i film with the nikon d90, and when i edit and finish the video in sony vegas, i don't now what file type to save it as so it will play in 720p hd on youtube and vimeo

Go to File-> Propreties, on the to, there should be a drop down bar. Make sure it says
1080i (50, 29.97 FPS) and you are good.

Youtube recommends using QuickTime. MOV, Windows. AVI, or. MPG files, as they are the most common video formats, the same would go for Vimeo.

Make sure you save in either of these formats, in the highest quality possible. I think the D90 shoots in avi, so if you leave the format as avi, that will be best.
