DSLR Light Leak? White Thing?
My name eve
i've been using my Nikon d90 for 1 Year.
until 1 day i saw this Weird Light Leak on the Top. But when i cover the camera or when there's no light at all.
the leak or white thing is Gone. So i assumed it was a Leak afterall
the Leak is not showing in Live View or ViewFinder. It is just Shown on the Photos when taken.
eveytime i take a shot of a photo. It's there. I don't know what cause it
please help me
i tried diff. Lenses and still there.
tried restart. Still there.

It could be that the sensor has failed, but then again, since the problem does not happen in low light, then it is probably a light leak.
There's nothing that you can do to fix your D90. You must take the camera to a repair center.
My best guess as to cost of the repairs is be between $125~$200 USD. You can buy another used D90 between $200~$300 USD.
If this ends up being true, then you will have to decide whether or not it is worth paying so much to repair the camera. If it were me, I would probably not get the camera repaired if the repair cost was more than 50% of the camera's used price, which it will be. Instead, I would consider putting the money into another DSLR that was not as old as the D90.
Does the white thing appear if you view the pictures in the computer? IF not, the rear LCD of your camera may be broken or not properly positioned that the LED at the back of it is showing up.
Does the white thing appear when you take a picture with the dSLR upside-down? If the white thing appears on the top of the LCD (when the camera is it's normal position) after you take the shot then I'm still guessing it's an LCD problem. If it appears at the bottom (which was the top when you took the picture), try using black electrical tape to cover the space between the lens and the camera and try shooting again. If the white thing disappears, it's a light leak all right and you may have to have your camera and lens serviced.
Sure would help if you could post an example of your light leak, seeing the problem makes this much easier.
