Does the nikon d7000 have a noise inside when you shake it?
My camera has a noise inside when you shake it
Uh… Depends on how hard you shake it, I reckon. My D200 doesn't.
Why are you shaking it?
Probably the orientation sensor. Hold it horizontal and then slowly turn it to vertical, you should hear the noise just once.
Question.
Do you have a VR lens mounted?
Is the VR switch on?
Is the camera power off?
If so, turn the camera power on, then turn the VR switch off, then turn the camera power off.
Is it now shaking?
The VR function on all Nikon VR lenses should always be turned off before turning the camera off as that "parks" the VR mechanism. If the camera is turned off and the VR switch left on, then there's usually a clicking sound when you move the camera. That clicking is from the VR, and while it will do no harm Nikon always recommends turning the VR off first.
If that ain't it, then I'm not sure what the noise is.
