Canon 450D compared to Nikon D90?

From what I heard, the Nikon D90 is better than the Canon 450D. But the question is how much better is it? So The D90 has 2 more focus points (9 Vs 11) but I don't think thats much of a problem- or is it? Also for ISO, it only goes up to 1600 compared to 6400… Is it necessary to have a better ISO? What other points do I have to consider before buying one of the two cameras? I'm on a budget so I'm leaning towards Canon, but if I must I might get the D90…

PS Movie mode is not really "needed" I'm buying a DSLR for photography. It would be nice to have a movie mode, but primarily it doesn't really bother me.

The 450D is an entry level dSLR.

The D90 (now D7000) is an advanced dSLR closer to the 50D

Since the introduction of the D7000, there will be some nice reductions in the cost of the remaining D90's

For sensor quality, the D90 out does the 450D by a long shot: http://www.dxomark.com/...nd2)/Nikon
