Can't decide which camera to get?

I really want a nice camera for my birthday and I can't decide which one is better.
The only 2 camera's I'm considering-
Nikon D3100 or Nikon D3000
I'm not a professional but i do take a lot of up close, detailed pics.
Things i'm looking for:
-Good quality.
-Easy abilty to get Bokeh in pictures.
-Sits well on a tripod.
-Rechargeable battery/long(ish) battery life.
-Comes with a lens.
Please share your opinion with those 2, an tell me why.

Just pick the one that you like the most.

I'm not a Nikon expert, but the D3100 replaces the D3000 and has new, better sensor (larger ISO range, too). Either camera would do the job, but I would get the D3100. All DSLRs come with a kit lens unless you specifically order a body.
