Any tips taking photos with the Nikon D3000?
Just wondering if you had any pearls of wisdom about the nikon D3000 or taking photos in general.
* Read Mr. Peterson's "Understanding Exposure".
* Read your User Manual http://nikonusa.com/...oprint.pdf
* Use a tripod whenever it is practical to do so.
* Check out books about Composition and Art.
* Always buy the best glass you can afford.
* Study the work of other D3000 photographers.
If you are just starting out, read the User's Manual thoroughly and practice on all the functions explained in it a number of times, to know your camera.
Composition and lighting are the next and never ending steps.
