35mm lens on new Nikon D3100?

Cassie
So I have some old 35mm film Nikon camera lenses but before I go through the trouble of digging them out of storage I thought I'd just ask if they'd work without an adaptor on my new Nikon D3100?

EDWIN
Since Nikon has used the same lens mount since 1959, except for a couple of very rare lenses any Nikon lens ever made can be used on your D3100. Of course only Nikon AF-S lenses will auto focus on your camera so the older lenses you have will require manual focusing.
