Does the Nikon D600 still have the sensor issue?
Curious to know because I'm tempted to purchase my first full frame camera, but I do not want to constantly deal with oil/dust on the sensor. Did Nikon fix this issue? Thanks in advance.
Added (1). EDIT: I'm hoping the issue has been resolved, it's really annoying waiting for the camera's flaw(s) to get fixed.
I have not heard any reports of oil on the sensor for some time. This kind of leads me to believe that the issue may have been overblown to begin with.
I've been using a D600 since December and never had an issue with oil on the sensor. I have never met anyone that actually reported having this issue, the only time I have ever heard of it was from reports on the internet and even then most of those were third hand reports. If the problem ever actually existed it was probably heavily exagerated
