Can you identify what kind of Nikon camera this it?

I'm thinking of buying this Nikon camera, because if looks sort of neat, but I do not know what the model is, and either does the seller. Can anyone identify the model jut by looking at it? The seller thinks its 40+ years old.

It looks like an F2s
The original F series had F clearly on the mirror housing, and the F3 had 'F3' on the body. The FM was black/chrome & I think all the subsequent bodies had the model name on them too.
It was made from 1970-1980 so that would fit in with your time frame.
