Best Nikon For My Needs?
Long story short… I'm hoping to advance from my regular digital camera to a fancy DSLR. I'm hoping to list a few points here and get recommendations, as I'm still researching for the right camera.
Since I've started looking, I've leaned towards Nikon, but any suggestions are welcome!

Added (1). Auto AND Manual focus would be nice.
Nikon D5300 is the best beginner and intermediate camera out there. Nikon D3300 is a good beginner camera, but if you want to advance to intermediate level, then you would need a D5300 again. So I suggest you get a D5300.

Get the most expensive Nikon dSLR you can afford but never ever get mirrorless if you want a dSLR. They are two different things.
Nikon if shooting in low light because the sensor is better.
If you buy one with 35mm sensor you need to get the best full frame lenses as any defects will definitely show up. Such lenses are expensive.
Unfortunately Canon is much better for video. The 70D also has 2 control wheels, a real glass pentaprism and better viewfinder as a result, and a top plate data panel… All absolutely vital things for enthusiast photographers, especially tripod-users.
