Are there any Nikon Lenses i can use on a Minolta Maxxum 400si?
I have a Minolta Maxxum 400si and I need to buy a new lens. I have always preferred Nikon, but I first need to know f there are any I can use.
The only way you could use a nikon lens on a minolta camera is if you had a convertor which would basically take out autofocus, should you have it, and metering. It will also put you down one f/stop
you will have to buy Minolta lenses which are really really good
Even if you could come up with an adapter, you would have to use the Nikon lens in full manual mode. There will be no auto focus, metering, or aperture controls. Just pick up one of the many great Minolta Maxxum lenses out there and you will be set.
