Adobe Bridge vs Nikon ViewNX-i?
Title says it all: Adobe Bridge Vs. Nikon ViewNX-i?
When I'm editing (sorting) my images, I use Adobe Bridge because once I have tagged them, I can move right into Lightroom to process the RAW image files, add keywords and apply any custom white balance settings I have for that specific shoot.
While Nikon ViewNX is a fine program for those who do not already have and use Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC (6), working pros and advanced amateurs consistently use Adobe products
Agree with fhotoace. It's a matter of having an efficient workflow. Adobe's products are extremely well supported, and unlike Apple's Aperture, Photoshop and Lightroom aren't going anywhere. You can't say that about Nikon's software since they are not a software company and their market share of ViewNx-i users vs Lightroom or Bridge is almost nonexistent.
Go with bridge for the support, rock solid performance, and future-proofing your workflow. The last thing you want to have to do is what the Aperture people are doing: re-learning a whole new program and spending additional hours, days or weeks transferring their images from Aperture to Lightroom.
Adobe bridge no doubt
