35mm 1.8g or 40mm micro 2.8g?
I can't decide between these 2 Nikon lenses. I enjoy macro photography and find myself frustrated often when my lens can't focus closer to a subject, but I also shoot in lowlight a lot and the 1.8 bokeh would be nice. Which do you think is more worth it, 1.8 aperture, or the macro capability?
No one can tell you that. Only YOU know what is more important to you. For ME I would ten times rather have the 35 1.8, but that is ME. Why should that affect your decision? Macro means little to nothing to me, but if it is important to you, then get the macro. Again, only you know what you want / need / desire the most.
