What's A great $200-$350 camera for photography?

Eather Nikon or Canon. $200-$350
I'm a young beginner in Photography and I need a reliable camera (Digital)

Nikon is always a good camera, and they have several models in that range. They all fit all the Nikon lenses and many other lenses. Nikon also has refurbished cameras, and used Nikons also.

I began with a Nikon D40.

Id go with an olympus actually id get an Olympus tough tg_820 for 249.99 or a Nikon coolpix s800c for 299.99 (=

It's not a C or an N but it sure looks like a killer.

I'm very happy with my Canon S100. Image quality is outstanding for a pocket-sized point and shoot. The last time I saw a price at B&H, it was $279.

Don't bother getting a bridge/point and shoot camera. Just go for an slr, you'll get a cheap one on ebay for that price. I would go with any canons: 400d, 450d, 500d, 550d, 600d. The 400-500d are old now, they don't have hd video but they are still great reliable cameras. I started with the 400d and it's a great little camera, it's so sturdy and has been through the wars with me. It has the nicest image quality too, put a 50mm 1.8 lens on it and you will never look back!

If you are serious about actually learning about the craft beyond your "extreme passion", you will need a camera with user adjustable settings, manual mode as well as shutter and aperture priority. If you want a digital camera, that means an advanced compact, a bridge camera, or a dSLR. Nikon, Canon, Sony, Olympus and Pentax all make fine cameras. I have a Canon Rebel T3 http://www.dzustore.com/eos-rebel-t3-ef-s-18-55mm-is.html I just started photography but I can already say that it is very user-friendly and take great photos, as for a pretty good and not so expensive I would recommend Canon PowerShot ELPH 310 HS http://www.dzustore.com/powershot-elph-310-hs-12-1mp-dig-camera-8x-zoom-3-0-touch-lcd.html
