What size adapter for Nikon L340?

I'm looking to get a macro ring light for my camera but I'm not sure what size adapter I need for it. Does anyone happen to know?

Also, does anyone know if I can use any sort of shutter remote with this camera?

You purchased a very low end, $130 P&S camera.

They are not designed to use the accessories you seem to need, like anything that would usually screw into the filter threads on a digital SLR lens, not will it have the capacity for using remote shutter releases.
