I would like to get something a little bit better then the regular lens that comes with the camera. Is there a certain size i need or can you provide me with links to the lens.

Assuming you bought the kit lens (10-30mm) then the 30-110mm is a good choice for a second lens.

Or you can buy the Nikon FT-1 adapter and have your choice of over 50 Nikon AF-S DSLR lenses. Actually the FT-1 adapter with a Nikon DSLR lens can provide a better quality image than the Nikon 1 lenses.

All that there's is on the site below.

The one that comes with the camera is usually all you'll ever need unless you know exactly why you need another lens.

I'm making a wild guess stating the normal lens (angle of vision same as human eyes) would be the 18.5mm. If you want to have the fastest lens available for everything including low light situations, this is it. It has no zoom but that's the beauty of it all. You will have to work your way around to find the best possible angle to shoot.

If you want to shoot everything with just one lens but suffer in low light situations, get the 10-100mm. If you already have both the 10-30mm and 30-110mm then that should be (almost) the same (although needing to switch between two lenses).

If you have the 10-30mm VR then just learn with it first until you eventually decide to get better with a dSLR.
