Sony or nikon? Which one is better?

In 7-8000 range which camera will be better? Image quality n all.

Go for Nikon Coolpix. Sony cameras deliver bad image qualities and is a new player in the camera industry.

Sony is better to amertures and as well as professionals.nikon better for auto focus. But lens is fiber lens.go for sony for better pictures. And just consider price also.sony has rich colors better then nikon.
