Should I sell my Canon Power shot?

In 2011 I believe I bought a brand new canon power shot for about $500 or something, I can't exactly remember. However, recently I bought a Nikon d7000. I'm trying to decide if I should hold on to the power shot, or if there's no reason to. Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you!

Added (1). Also it isn't all that compact, the canon looks like a slightly smaller/ lighter dslr.

I used to keep a compact along with a DSLR. The compact stayed in the car or accompanied me on dog walks etc where I might not have wanted the DSLR to endure rough conditions.

Add: But it will still be tiny compared to a D7000 with a sensible all purpose lens on it like a Tamron 18-270.

Put it on EBay and get a little S95 - new S110.

You bought a high end DSLR, but don't say what lenses you have. A DSLR camera body is just a platform for lenses, filters and other equipment to make it work. It sounds like the Canon you have is a "bridge" type, possibly with significant telephoto range, for example from 28mm out to over 500mm.

If the Canon camera has lens capabilities way beyond the lenses you got with the DSLR, you should keep it for those capabilities. Nikon lenses will be expensive, so if you want wide angle or telephoto beyond the lenses you own, and your Canon has them, keep it.

On the other hand, if your DSLR does everything you could possibly want, then get rid of the Canon - even so you may want a pocketable camera as a "take anywhere" instead of packing an equipment bag on casual occasions.
