Nikkor AF-s 35mm 1.8G or Nikkor AF-S 50mm 1.8G On DX?

I'm kinda confused on what should i get. I have a Nikon D3100 and I'd like to get lenses for it. I wanna use it for Street photography, and people.

Nikkor AF-s 35mm 1.8G

Get the 50mm f1.8 - the 35mm is rather too wide for portraits. As to what you want to use on the street, the 50mm will be fine for that too & give you a little more space so you are not in people's faces.
I use a 50mm f1.8 and an 85mm f1.8 for street and portraiture.

Why not both!
35mm/1.8 is a DX lens anyway. And if you are not scared of Manual focus, you can go for AF50mm/1.8D
the cheapest lens in nikon line up.

On a DX camera, I'd vote for the 35mm for street photography. Just my opinion.
- Nikkor 50mm AF-S 50mm f/1.4G or AF 50mm f/1.8G?
- Why is the Nikkor 35mm f/1.4 way, way bigger than the Nikkor 35mm f/1.8 (DX)?
- Why is the Nikkor 35mm f/1.4 Way more expensive than the Nikkor 35mm f/1.8?
- Why is the nikkor 35mm f/2D more expensive than the nikkor 35mm f/1.8G?
- Nikkor AF-S 35mm f/1.8G or Nikkor AF-S 50mm f/1.4G?
