Hi. I own a nikon d3200 with 18-55 mm VR lens but i don't find it suitable for low light photography.
Please suggest some lens compatible and best for this category.

I'm also into motion photography mainly street photography. Please do suggest lens for this category too.

The two lenses used most by wedding and event photographers are the 24-70 mm f/2.8 and 50 mm f/1.8

If you intend to shoot weddings & charge, then you are going to be needing a lot more than a single lens.

My basic wedding kit;
- two DSLR's (one as a backup)
- 50mm f1.8 lens
- 85mm f1.8 lens
- 24-70mm f2.8 lens
- 70-200mm f2.8 lens
- at least 2 (preferably 3) speedlights & modifiers
- plenty of spare memory cards and batteries for both camera & speedlight.

I would also suggest the 85mm f1.8 as a street lens (I use one).

However, neither the 50mm nor the 85mm f1.8 lenses will autofocus on your D3200 - you would need to manually focus them.

I think more than a lens you need some lights. The 50mm f1.4 and 85mm f1.4 would be my choices for low light photography but they are not cheap.

An affordable prime lens that can work in the most situations would be the 35mm f1.8 AF-S DX. With a tripod, it could be sharp enough for your 24 MP to actually look good at 100% for a change.

Get the lowest f/numbered lens you can afford.
