My names Jess and I'm 15 in December. I use a nikon D3100 for all my filming/photography and Windows Movie Maker for my editing ; Can you's give me some tips on how to become famous (eventually/hopefully) on Youtube like Jc Caylen, Kian Lawley, Griffin Arnlund, etc. My bedroom has already been decorated so that's out the question… Also how do I download Free Royalty Music to my laptop? I use a HP something. I'm already good with Thumbnails too. Should I buy lighting and a microphone for my camera as well? Every detail helps!

Below are some listed tips that should help you out a fair amount. Here are the tips i'd like to share with you:

1. Quality> Quantity, The Quality of your videos is one big part of it, if someone clicks your video and the audio is too loud, fuzzy, the image is blurry or distorted they are going to either close the video or leave a comment and not watch it.

2. This is one that always pops up, try be original and i don't mean you have to think of a whole new idea just try do what nobody else does, a good one for that is to be yourself!

3. Are you using nice thumbnails? People tend to click on videos if the thumbnail looks promising.

4. Are you titling/tagging your videos correctly? Using misleading titles is bad but also using to many short words such as "a" "the" sometimes get cut out of a search. Tagging your videos correctly is key as-well as SEO (search engine optimization) will get your videos more frequently come up depending on key words and what people search for.

5. Key uploading regularly, this will get you an audience, and with that audience you want to listen to them so if they suggest something it could be worth listening to them (:

6. Create a unique name, have a banner that stands out and a good YouTube picture.

7. DO NOT Sub 4 Sub, you won't get views and they could potentially unsub in the future.

8. Retention is a lot, this is how long someone views your video, High retention gets you better rankings, so make short precise videos, or if they're longer be sure they get the attention of the viewer so you get higher retention.

Don't let views or subs discourage you, If you're making good videos at high quality numbers will come later, it takes time to grow. If you're doing all this quite frequently and sharing your videos on social media sites your bound to get more views/subs eventually, YouTube is a hard one with so much similar content and small channels content sometimes don't get recognised but keep working on your videos and you'll get there eventually.

Remember the amount of effort and time put into videos the more likely they are to be more popular. Try doing things you enjoy and what you want to do, because at the end of the day if its not enjoyable you won't make the most of it. Hope these tips help a little.

I follow a lot of youtubers, the one thing that gets them famous is that you need a good personality, something that will stand out from the crowd, it's all about the content of your videos rather than the quality, you need to have good content so that people don't get bored easily. Even now there are some youtubers that I have followed for years and sometimes there content does bore me and I switch to someone else. Upload frequently, if you go back through your favourite youtubers content, back to the very beginning of their life on youtube you'll see how they started out and it'll hopefully give you some tips. Though the competition is very competitive these days.

Youtubers I follow:
Carrie Fletcher
Jack & Dean
Tanya Burr
Zoella
Helen melonlady
fleurdeforce
jim chapman
alfie deyes
emma blackery…

my list is endless… But the one think they have are all unique personalities, people watch them because they are inspired by what they do/want to be. Find something in your life that interests you and blog about it. My career is photography so if it was me I'd blog about photography… Acutally maybe i should do that.
