When is the nikon d5200 coming out?

I have enough money for the nikon d5100 but i don't want to buy it if the d5200 is coming out in a few weeks

It has only been a year since the d5100 came out. I would doubt that they will change it so fast. I also haven't heard of any DX cameras that are going to be updated. If a dx camera were to be updated it I would think it would be the D300S.

Not going to happen for quite a while. The D5100 was announced in April of 2011

entry level DSLR cameras get replaced every 1.5-2 years at the minimum, therefore making it late 2012 or early 2013 before a new one comes out

Just get the D5100 - You'll be very happy with it. A replacement isn't due for quite a while.

Yes, and we all know a D5100 would immediately become useless.

Next up is a D300s replacement and a followup to the D3100. After that it's the D5100's turn. October at the earliest.

Nikon Rumors have announced that the d5200 will be out before Christmas, so if you are still waiting, it shouldn't be too long now

D5200 costs like 45k in india so umm prolly umm 900 something canadian dollars
