Progress on the Nikon D5200?

Should I get the D5100 or wait for the D5200? Is it gonna be really expensive when it comes out? My budget is about $600-$800…

Well, nothing has been "leaked" yet. Usually, once the "leaked" product photos start to hit the web, we have any where from a few to 6 mos before release. It probably will be priced in your range. Right now, you could get a very nice used D7000 within your budget. You may want to consider that as an option.
