Buying an Entry-level DSLR?

I have sony dsc-W580 cam, I was wounding to gets my hand's on to DSLR I like nikon, but lack of bulit-in autofocus motor chaging my mind due to expensive lens, so my option is canon which one will be a good cam for shooting events video and good pictures in friends family and kids playing. Canon eos 600d or 650d or 60d?

Canon 50d. Nest option you have there. 600d and 650 are very beginner, and the photography you can do with them is pretty limited.

Any of those cameras will be good. However the only way to get good pictures is if you know what you are doing (the best camera in the world won't help you if you don't practice)
