Would Nikon j1 be allowed in Arena?

I'm going to see Cody Simpson & the rules are that you can't take a professional camera. & it has to be a Small point & shoot camera to get a photo with Cody. Could I get away with it if I took my Nikon j1 with the small lens on it?

Thats an interchangeable lens system, right
Meaning it does qualify as a professional camera

Probably, yes. But many security guards don't know the difference.
EDIT, The J1 is NOT a professional camera. Nor is it a D-SLR. It's an EVIL camera. Electronic Viewfinder Interchangeable Lens. It doesn't have a viewfinder that you can look through. In 27 years of photography, I have NEVER heard of a professional camera that didn't have a viewfinder that you can look through.
A D-SLR is a camera with a lens you can change. But that doesn't make it a professional camera. A professional camera is one such as a Nikon D4. A entry level camera would be a Nikon D3100.
