What kind of DSLR for beginners?
I'm 12. Interested in photography and never had any exp with a DSLR. Would like a suggestion of beginner ones I could use. Canon or Nikon suggestions would be great. Also, remember, I'm 12 and a beginner.PS: no answers saying I'm too young or to get a digital camera or anything non-relevant to my question. Tq.
I started with my DSLR when I was 14
as long as you are careful and cautious about your camera, are willing to take the time to learn how to correctly use one, and are careful and cautious about your camera, I would say that you are fine.
here are the ones that I recommend:
Nikons D3000, D5000, D3100
Canons Rebel Xs, T1i, T2i
Pentax K-x
all of them are good at what they do, but to correctly use one to create breathtaking images takes some time to learn, and possibly a class.
Sony A290, Sony A390, Pentax Kx, Canon XS.
Have a look at a used Sony A200, it will be cheap, but excellent. You will be able to use the hundreds of Sony, Minolta, Tamron, Sigma, Tokina and so on lenses on any Sony dSLR. Plenty of used lenses on eBay for example.
Don't spend a lot on the camera, the lenses are the important (and expensive) bit.
I think Nikon D60 is the best for beginners and low price and easy to learn how to use it… May it costs: 480 dollars it's not too high
