I have a Nikon P530 camera. However my computer don't have a HDMI port. The camera could be recognised if I connected it with the computer using the charging cord provided and I could transfer the data from the camera to my computer. But this time it is not being recognised. Pl.

A few things to check…
Try switching everything off for a minute and restarting
Try plugging into a different USB socket
Try a different USB cable (only if your camera uses a standard USB cable - if it has a proprietary connector at the camera end, don't)
Make sure you aren't plugging the cable in upside down (if you have, that can damage both the connector on the device and the cable)
Check the camera's batteries
Test it on a different computer

Otherwise, it might be necessary to try uninstalling and reinstalling the camera, or rolling back the OS to a previous good backup… Remembering to backup what you have first.

If things worked fine and just suddenly stopped, then usually restarting the computer fixes the issue.
Sometimes the connection is finicky in that the camera must be turned off while connecting it to the computer, and then turned on only when all cables are properly connected.

Using an external card reader will likely never give you these connectivity issues. Plus, if your computer is relatively new and has an USB3.0 port, getting a USB3.0 card reader will download data 10x than your downloading from your camera.

The cheapest solution is to buy a USB card reader and use that to connect the camera's memory card directly to the computer's USB slot then use Windows Explorer or (Mac) Finder to do the copying.
