Photography question.Which SD memory card to use with the Nikon D5500 camera?

Photography question.
The Nikon D5500 camera saves its pictures on to an SD memory card.
What is the largest capacity in gigabytes (GB) that the camera is capable of using?
Can this camera use the newer faster SD cards? Is there a code number on the card to describe the faster cards?

This is answered in the manual that came with your camera. You can also download this from Nikon's web site in PDF format.

Refer to page 364. It says that it is UHS-1 compliant and can handle SDHC and SDXC cards. SDXC says you can use memory card greater than 32GB, probably up to 1TB.
