Other than price, what is the main difference between Canon, Nikon, and Sony for DSLR Cameras?

And what do you recommend for a beginner going into Photography 101?

What's a good DSLR type camera I can buy?

I'm ideally wanting 20mp or more, and I don't want to pay more than £400.00, but I don't mind buying second hand gear.

It must also shoot both jpeg and raw photos.

I have seen the Nikon D5300, which I can get for just over £400 but are there any others that I could look at as well. Cheers.

I do amateur photography mostly on friends, and my pictures come out blurry when I send them across. I have a few (well more) questions?

I shoot on the Nikon D3300 with the lens that comes with it.
1)I take pictures as RAW+JPEG because you can't send images across as RAW, so how do professional photographers take loads pictures edit them as RAW and maintain the quality? Like do they convert each picture one by one?
1a) How do professional photographers send the pictures?
2) The JPEG pictures look fine on my laptop but when I send them on whatsapp or something like that and they post the picture on instagram the quality looks worse. (My ISO is usually 100/200)
3)I use GIMP to edit, when I save the photos from RAW and export to save it as JPEG does that decrease the quality?
Sorry about all the questions I just need to learn how to keep up the quality

How do I share the photos on my Nikon D850 through bluetooth?

Having trouble figuring this one out. Looked at the instruction manual and online but nothing to fix this.

I have tried to switch the Wi-Fi on but it says the mode isn't correct to enable it. Airplane mode is off.

Snapbridge keeps coming up online, but do I really need to use this to see my photos? Nikon's drive only gives you a certain amount of space before you have to pay.

Can anyone think of interesting ways to portray Depth of Field in photography?

For a University project in crime scene forensics i must show my understanding of shallow depth of field and deep depth of field and i'm trying to think of good examples. I must photograph things myself to show this.

Also any tips on how to really maximise depth of field?

I will be using Nikon D3300 - 18-55mm lens

How to recompose on a Sony A37?

I was a Nikon user for four years and I like it better than the Canon I occasionally borrowed from a friend. But, because of financial needs I have sold my camera.

Last week, a friend gave me a Sony A37 plus two lenses (18-135 SAM and 55-300SAM). I like the camera because of its interface. However, I find it weak on the one I used most often, the selecting the focus point because it takes several steps for me to do it. What I normally do (using the Nikon) was to choose one specific focus point, then recompose. However in the A37, when I recompose, the focus does not lock with my original focus point even if I would press the AE lock button.

While in the Nikon, I don't even have to press the AE button. I can halfpress then move the focus point easily, then click when I find it OK. That enables me to track my subjects especially when it is a dancer or a bird.

Any advice please.
