Nikon F with Photomic not taking pictures?
I have a Nikon F with a Photomic. The shutter works fine, as I can see it when the film cover is removed. However, the picture does not appear on the film. Should I be able to see the picture on the film if I expose the film to light? I understand this is not a shutter problem, maybe a light leak? Any help would be much appreciated.
1) are you using the cameras light meter correctly?
2) are you having the film processed at a good lab?
"Should I be able to see the picture on the film if I expose the film to light?" This statement is a little unusual. The cameras shutter and lens aperture controls the light that strikes the film and then when you have the film developed, you will get a set of negatives and prints from those negatives.
I hope you are NOT opening the back of the camera and hoping to see the last shot you took.
