My Nikon J1 won't turn on?

I have a Nikon J1 and the battery is fully charged and the sd card is in but it won't turn on at all. The green light won't turn on either as if i don't have the battery in. I would send it to the manufacturer but the warranty is up. Is there a way to reset it?

Perhaps, you can try looking for a reset button inside the battery compartment.
Not to be a "fanboy" but I've owned numerous cameras from both Canon and Nikon, and I just haven't been that impressed with my Nikons, had almost as many problems with them as what I had with my old Minolta 35mm. That thing was horrible.

In the future, give Canon a try.
