Opening edited photos on nikon d300?

I have a pictbridge printer which can only be connected to a compatible camera, and i want to print some photos i've taken with the d300 and edited. The problem is, the camera won't recognize a photo once its been edited… Is there any way of saving a photo in photoshop (format/compression options etc) to enable the camera to be able to properly read the image?

You don't tell us what happens when you try to print the edited photo. Any error messages? At two possibilities come to mind: 1) the edited photos go into a folder that the printer isn't seeing, 2) the edited photos are being saved in a format that the printer doesn't recognize.

I would download the photos to my computer and print them from there.
