How do you check the total shuntter count on a nikon d300?

Added (1). Looked at exif data in iphoto and ps elements 8 could not see shuntter count.

Take a photo with the camera (JPEG), put it on your computer and upload it to myshuttercount or flickr.

On flickr, once you upload the photo, click on "Nikon D300." Towards the middle or bottom, look for "shutter count."

It is in exif data, so anything you have like a photo editing program that can read exif can tell you.

PS8 does not read All the EXIF data.

Either upload a totally unedited image to Flickr & it'll be there, or download Opanda EXIF viewer (free) and it will show all data.
