When will we see the Nikon D7000 (Body only) fall in price to £500 GBP?
I'm going to wait until the Nikon D7000 (Body only) falls to £500 GBP (brand new on Amazon) I'm not buying 2nd hand before anyone says buy an almost new one. You get 2 Years warranty with a brand new one, You don't with a 2nd hand one.
They are down to £630 GBP on Amazon, But I suspect they will fall even more in price to £500 GBP.
My question is this… When will we see the price of the Nikon D7000 body fall to £500 GBP.
I Predict it will be around October 2013 (ish)
Thank you for your answers. Have a great day
Added (1). I own a D3100 but I find the body a bit to "Plasticy" for my liking. The D7000 is tough and Rugged
Probably when the new Nikon D7100 is released.
The £630 cost probably reflects the Christmas discounts provided by many of the camera manufacturers.
Since the Nikon D7000 is one of the most popular advanced dSLR's made today, I do not see that many will be left in the supply line when the D7100 becomes available, so there may never be a time when the D7000 dips as low as £500. My guess is that you may see them for sale at £600 before they are no longer available as a new camera
Not until production is ceased and they want to clear out inventory.
As the D7100 becomes available, we can expect a dip in price, but maybe not that much. Some people will not want 24 MP. Thanks to computers stores can carry things in inventory efficiently enough that there's not necessarily an incentive to super discount to clear them out. Some will eventually be marked up as unused samples become rare, and they can stay in inventory a long time waiting for a buyer.
