Sony A37 vs Nikon D3100?
Photography is just my hobby. I'm unable to decide which one to buy (Sony A37 or Nikon D3100) for my personal use. Can anyone comment about the comfort and picture quality comparison between these DSLR's.
If photography is a hobby, you'll find the Sony system much more pocket-friendly. They are in-body stabilized, which means cheaper lenses available, plus the legacy Minolta AF lenses are also stabilized on the camera. Some of these are exceptionally great, like the 70-21 f/4 and the 50 f/1.7, and you can buy them for a song. There are also some great plastic primes which are almost as good as the G and ZA lenses optically and sell for under $200. The D3100, on the other hand, requires Nikon's AF-S lenses to autofocus and they ain't cheap. For what you'd save in lenses, you could step up to the a57 with Sony. Image quality is about the same between these two, but the a37 gives you a slightly better body and the a57 gives you a MUCH better body.
After comparison both cameras, I want to suggest you Nikon D3100.It enables you to capture fabulous images at 14.2 megapixels. You can record your memories and shoot full HD movies with the Nikon D3100 at 1920 x 1080 resolution (24 fps). The Nikon D3100 is equipped with the Guide mode, a feature that helps you get better acquainted with the camera and its many settings. In the continuous mode, this DSLR will click a burst of images at 3 frames per second, capturing every single unforgettable moment.
Nikon D3100 is the best one to buy.
