Nikons repair policy
I bought a Nikon d5000 not over 3 months ago, and it just recently stopped working properly. The automatic zoom no longer works. I was super bummed. I bought the camera online at a large retail office. It was BJ's or something like that. It came brand new, and inside is a one year warrentee. I'm not sure if I'm eligable to return the camera for replacement even if I bought it from a non nikon store. I wanted to get some insight before I contacted Nikon. Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
That should all be fine. Just ring up nikon and be sure to have your receipt handy!
It should be fine, just make sure your camera wasn't a hong kong model as cameras from hong kong are not covered under the warrenty in few countries, not in australia. But they will cover your lens as lenes are coverd on a worldwide warrent but not the camera.
