Nikon D70: Memory card issue?

I just bought a new memory card for my nikon d70, and it will not register. It says "card can't be used" and "Cha" I also get a green light.
Is there anyway I can fix this?
I tried formatting and reseting -nothing works.

It could be that the D70 does not accept FAT32 memory cards (4 gb and higher). Or it could be you just got a bad card, although that is very rare.
Call Nikon and find out for sure. 800. NIKON-UX
Based upon the cards my old D100 can use (I use 4 gb cards with it), I would think a newer camera would be able to use 4 gb cards.
This is defiantly a question for Nikon
I almost forgot to ask if your other CF cards work fine?

The D70 uses Type I and II CompactFlash memory cards. You may have a defective memory card. Rare, but it's known to happen.
